As part of 2023’s Summer of Culture, a wonderful concert by the Julius Eastman Project took place at the estate on July 9.

The American composer, pianist, singer and dancer Julius Eastman (1940-1990) became famous for his innovative minimalism and political provocation.a Eastman was among the first to use compositional techniques from minimal music and fuse it with pop elements. His vision of “organic music” and his creative openness gave new impetus to the minimal music movement.

With wine and the best weather, the audience enjoyed an outstanding performance by the energetic ensemble.
