On 03. and 04 December 2022, the Christmas market of the Bennigser Interessengemeinschaft von 1983 e.V. took place for the first time on the Bennigsen estate. A dreamlike ambience was offered to the visitors. A variety of artisans and associations presented themselves, there were Christmas delicacies and regional specialties.

Over 6,000 visitors came from all over the region to see Santa Claus and stroll through the Christmas market in the old sheepfold. At times, the main gate had to close briefly because the rush became too great. There was delicious mulled wine, baked bread, suckling pig, lots of sweets and many other delicacies. For the many children, one of the highlights was the great carousel.
