ENSEMBLE SOZUSINGEN

Last Saturday, a special kind of concert took place at the idyllic Bennigsen estate. Ensemble Sozusingen presented a captivating concert collage that combined classical vocal music, moving chants and the powerful voices of young climate activists. The audience could look forward to a unique musical experience.

Under the motto “Don’t just carry on as before”, an urgent appeal was made to the audience during the concert. It was made clear that growth, efficiency and one’s own well-being must no longer be the top priority. Environment and nature are in a state of flux, and therewith the sounds of songbirds are dwindling. An oppressive silence spreads out that brings you to think.

The extraordinary vocal program of Ensemble Sozusingen invited the audience to listen and feel along. The performances were inspired by passionate commitments to conservation, intergenerational justice, and future scenarios. In a unique concert collage, vocal music and environmental protection demo choirs merged into a powerful whole. Chorales were interwoven with Greta Thunberg’s haunting speeches, while classical music met rousing poetry slam contributions from Hanover and the region.

The sentiment among the spectators was excellent. The stunning weather contributed to the good mood and created a relaxed atmosphere at Gut Bennigsen. The audience was captivated by the combination of sophisticated music and powerful messages, causing thoughtful faces and enthusiastic applause.

Ensemble Sozusingen once again proved its talent and artistic versatility. Their musical performance was not only of exceptional quality, but also provided space for critical reflection and a new awareness of the challenges of our time.

With the concert at Gut Bennigsen, the ensemble Sozusingen sent a strong signal for environmental protection and the urgency to actively work for the preservation of our nature. This event will undoubtedly be remembered for a long time and hopefully inspire a change in thinking and concrete action.
